I’m not sure how many Walrus Comix fans know, but at one point your faithful Editors were in a band called Johnny Bravo that was signed to Arista records in the mid-90s… In 1997, we left the label, and after 2 years of ensuing legal battles, we were getting ready to finally record a follow-up album with Interscope in the summer of 1999. Our old A&R was the big cheese there, and was all set to sign us up. Unfortunately, it was never to be, as he, along with half the staff there, was fired on a day that was to become known in the industry as “Black Friday”, and that pretty much ended the dream.

The following songs were recorded around that time, and would have probably been the album we released. Left in the can and unheard for almost a decade, we’ve recently cleaned it up a bit sonically.  We think it’s a pretty entertaining listen…
